HORIBA expects strong increase in MEXA-ONE sales for 2013

Oberursel (Taunus), March 20, 2013 – First introduced on the market in 2012, HORIBA’s latest version of motor exhaust gas analyzers is expected to fulfill the company’s sales expectations for 2013. HORIBA, market leader in emissions testing, has already received binding orders from several German, US-American and Japanese OEMs. Numerous further inquiries of major OEMs as well as engineering providers and test facilities have already reached the company. By providing higher testing efficiency and shorter development cycles compared to conventional systems, the new analyzer does not only follow the footsteps of the highly claimed MEXA-7000 series, but has already shown that it is superior to its predecessors in terms of ease of use, maintenance, self-diagnostics and design. In addition, MEXA-ONE has been named winner of “Hardware Innovation of the Year”.

Used to evaluate catalyst systems in NOx after-treatment, the compact exhaust gas measuring system supports carmakers in meeting future legal emissions standards. An intuitive user interface, a new integrated operating platform as well as a special front access design improve the system’s maintenance and enable continuous and stable system operation.
MEXA-ONE’s beneficial importance in the field of emissions measurement solutions has also been acknowledged by the Automotive Testing Technology International (ATTI) magazine. Selected by a jury of automotive test experts and industry journalists, the ATTI award is to ‘highlight and reward the efforts of individuals and companies who have made a difference in the world of vehicle development’. The HORIBA Group has been named the winner of “Hardware Innovation of the Year” for MEXA-ONE and shortlisted as “Company of the Year” in the ATTI awards 2012.
